how it all began...

Thank you so much for following us along this very long journey to adopting our baby girl. We have three boys of our own, that we absoulutely adore. They are young and busy, and loud, and busy, and curious...and did I say busy? We love to be outside playing whatever sport happens to be going on at the time. We all are beyond thrilled about having a baby sister and sweet baby girl to make our family complete. We began our homestudy in October of 2006 and had a LID (our paperwork officially) in China on June 7, 2007. Since that time, we have been waiting and waiting and the boys have been growing and growing. Every now and then, our youngest will hear something that will make him ask, "is she coming today." In December of 2008, after much prayer and research, we decided to switch from China to South Korea. We plan to wait on a baby girl with minor special needs. We are very confident that this is where the Lord has us, and now we just keep waiting. We will do our best to keep this blog updated. For those of you who know us, Jason's mom has graciously agreed to travel with Jason to South Korea to pick up our daughter when she is ready. Isn't that exciting? So, thank you for being interested and if you are able to contribute, our whole family thanks you so much! We would love for you to pass this link through your blog, Facebook, or other means of communication. Blessings, Jason, Meg & The boys
