Outfits, pink blankets, and tiny socks

These are a few of the things that we have had such a fun time of packing up to send to Jayne Riley! It is our understanding that we can send her a care package straight to Korea with her name, Gim, Hye-mi, on it. Her foster mother will come pick it up and hopefully bring her for a picture with her new stuff. I went to a store here in town and got three little outfits and socks to send her...it was so much fun! I wanted to buy all these precious little sundresses and outfits, but it will be getting cold when she does get here. We also are sending a disposable camera that her foster family will use and then send home with her when she comes home with Jason and his mom. We sent a soft blanket, a teddy bear, picture fram and a hand towel for the mom, and a rattle. They said hand towels are big for presents...who knows? We wanted to share our fun news for the day. The little white outfit to the right is a picture of one of the outfits we are sending her. Isn't it tiny!

Please keep praying about memphis immigration papers!!

Blessings,

WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE WAITING...

Well, so far, we think it is a little easier to wait now that we have Jayne Riley. The boys love to talk about her and all of us will tell anyone who is willing to listen, of how she is ours and waiting to come home! thank you all so much who have donated and sent us donations by mail. We are so grateful...as we already said, Jason and his mom will have to pay for flights and lodging and everything in between while they are in Korea!

On the home front, we are so proud of our eldest all star team. They won the 8 year old boys baseball tournament for Mississippi!

We are having so much fun looking at fabrics and paint colors. And thinking of clothes. Please pray for our immigration papers, still have not received them, yet.
Good news! We did receive ehr legals, but have to wait on immigration to send them in.

Blessings,

jason, meg, & the boys

JAYNE RILEY EDWARDS

Can you believe it? We are beyond thrilled and thankful to announce our new daughter. Her Korean name is Gim, Hye-mi and we think she is beautiful. We love our moms so much and are so happy to honor them with her name. One day, she will know the full measure of her own honor in having them. Jason's mom is Penelope Jayne Peth Edwards and Meg's mom was affectionately called Riley by her father growing up. Thanks moms, we love you both so much.

She is currently 6 1/2 months old and is doing great! She is little bitty but is growing and developing right on target. We are overwhelmed that she is actually ours and that this time is here. We feel very confident that she is the perfect little girl for our family, that The Lord picked her out just for us!

Please pray for our immigration papers for her. As we have said already, we switched from China to Korea and it is taking quite some time and many "hoops" to jump through in order to get that approval. As hard as it is to wait on that, we know that her arrival is all in His timing, not ours. So now, you all know, I am lying awake at night thinking of painting walls, buying girl clothes, a baby girl stroller, and fixing that darling little head of dark hair! We feel so blessed and wanted to share our wonderful news.

We would expect that it will take between 3-5 months before she is ready to come home. Yep, we will have a baby girl in 3-5 months! Thanks for all your encouragement...pray for her to continue to stay healthy and develop as she should...for her foster family to love on her and nurture while we wait for her. Please pray for the political situation in South Korea as Jason and his mother will be traveling to pick up Jayne Riley. Blessings to all.

Jason, Meg, & the boys.
